The weather was perfect when I caught the ferry to Vancouver Island this passed September. Cruising through the masses of rock and trees that comprise the Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia was pure magic. Here are some photos taken from the deck of the ferry, along with places I visited in Victoria, BC.

I was smoking outside some shops on Fisgard Street in Chinatown, while these fine folks were yelling compliments at passersby, myself included. After having a conversation with them from the sidewalk, they invited me upstairs to check out the view.

Camera Traders in Market Square is not much bigger than my bedroom. They're the only camera store I've ever been to that sells C-41 process chemicals, so I stocked up.
